Fully Sick and Fully Bored

Thanks to one of the guys in my maths class, who coughed and wheezed his way through 90 minutes before telling us he was sick, I now feel like crap.

All the excitement about missing school usually disappears within the first 10 minutes of being home. What follows is 6 and a half hours of feeling sorry for yourself and bad TV.  The annoying thing about being sick is, no matter how much you want to get up and do something, you really can’t be bothered.

The TV during the day is terrible. It’s as if the TV stations want to punish sick kids, new mums and the unemployed by showing the worst American TV shows they can find. Even Dr Phil wasn’t that good today. Don’t even get me started on Ellen Degenerous. Things do pick up at 5 though. I get to watch a full half hour of Antiques Roadshow, which, in my opinion, is one of the best TV shows in the world. There’s nothing quite like watching disappointed rich English people.

What is also bothering me is that I keep wanting to eat vegetables. Not that that’s a bad thing. In fact it’s quite good, it’s just odd considering i’m usually such a salt/sugar fan.

Also, I got a bunch of pirate DVDs from Thailand and I;m halfway through the stack. St Trinnian’s is a terrible movie. It’s basically just Rupert Everett prancing around in drag for 90 minutes. Wild Child isn’t much better. It contains every teen movie cliche known to man.
