The Party

I know I said I wanted to go out more…but this weekend I would much rather stay home. I have a bunch of homework and many lost hours of sleep to catch up on. But instead, tomorrow I will be attending a party.

I use the word party in the loosest sense of the word. I’m not really sure what it is. Because, you see, I received the invitation on facebook yesterday and was told by another friend that I can come even though it wasn’t her party.

God I miss the days when invitations came on paper and  avoided any confusion. I should also add that this is a seeing-a-movie-in-the-middle-of-the-day party and not a drink-until-you-pass-out party, which in this case, would probably be preferable.

I haven’t even got him a present yet. Guys are impossibly hard to buy for.  I really have no clue. And i’m not very financial at the moment, and i have a sneaking suspicion it will be a pay you own party.

In other news, I was listening to one my mum’s old Elvis tapes and came across this song. Elvis has some great songs, but this wasn’t one of them. Enjoy.
